Rates
East Bay Computer
has over 25 years of computing experience and is
standing by to assist you. Expert help is available for
your home or business, at your location or ours. We offer
a full range of computer care
services to both residential and commercial customers.
On-site Hourly Rates
Residential rate:
$70/hour + applicable service charge
Business rate: $90/hour + applicable service charge
There is a 1-hour minimum
charge for on-site service. However, we only charge by
the half-hour after the first.
In-Shop Flat Rates
We charge flat rates for
many in-shop services and offer pick-up and delivery
service* to some areas.
Service Charge
Service charge is added
ONLY to the first hour (for on-site service) or
round-trip (for pick-up/delivery service*) and is based
on your location as follows:

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- An adult over the age of 18 must be present while
technician is on-site.
- Customer is responsible for backing up vital data
prior to service being performed. East Bay Computer
is not responsible for lost data.
- Computer must be easily accessible at time of
appointment.
- Customer is responsible for licensed operating
system software and restore software, if needed to
complete a repair
- Parts and software purchased for repair are
subject to their individual warranty as applied by
the manufacturer.
- Microsoft Windows® 98 operating systems may
require additional configuration charges.
- Changes in appointments should be made at least 24
hours in advance.
- East Bay Computer reserves the right to rearrange
or cancel appointments but will make every effort to
accommodate customer's first choice of date and
time.
- Additional charges apply for required (or
optional) parts and/or hardware and software
upgrades needed to complete the requested service.
- East Bay Computer guarantees the workmanship of
the requested service for seven days following the
date the service was performed. Subsequent
reconfiguration or changes and modifications to the
computers or products serviced void the labor
warranty.
- Unless specified in a contract agreement, East Bay
Computer does not bill for services. Payment must be
made at the completion of the service call.
