Service
Rates
East Bay Computer has over 25 years of computing experience and is
standing by to assist you. Expert help is available for your home or
business, at your location or ours. We offer a full range of computer
care services to both residential and commercial customers.
On-site
Rates
- Residential: $80 for
first hour, $20 per 15 minutes thereafter
- Business: $90-120
/ hour (depends upon service and network details)
There is a 1-hour minimum
charge for on-site service. We charge by the 1/4-hour after the initial
hour.
For example, a 90 minute
house call in the East Bay is $145, including the service charge.
In-Shop
Rates
We charge simple, affordable
flat
rates for many common in-shop services (e.g diagnostic, tune-up, virus
removal) and
offer pick-up and delivery service* to some areas. Please call for
details.
Emergency
Service
We can provide emergency
service typically within 24 hours of your call. Additional charges may
apply.

Charge
Service charge is added ONLY
to the first hour (for on-site service) or per trip (for
pick-up/delivery service*) and is based on your location as follows:

service is currently available in Bristol county. Additional fees may
apply.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- An adult over the age of 18
must be present while technician is on-site.
- Customer is responsible for backing up vital data
prior to service being performed. East Bay Computer is not responsible
for lost data.
- Computer must be easily accessible at time of
appointment.
- Customer is responsible for licensed operating system
software and restore software, if needed to complete a repair
- Parts and software purchased for repair are subject
to their individual warranty as applied by the manufacturer.
- Microsoft Windows® 98 operating systems may
require additional configuration charges.
- Changes in appointments should be made at least 24
hours in advance.
- East Bay Computer reserves the right to rearrange or
cancel appointments but will make every effort to accommodate
customer's first choice of date and time.
- Additional charges apply for required (or optional)
parts and/or hardware and software upgrades needed to complete the
requested service.
- East Bay Computer guarantees the workmanship of the
requested service for 14 days following the date the service was
performed. Subsequent reconfiguration or changes and modifications to
the computers or products serviced void the labor warranty.
- Unless specified in a contract agreement, East Bay
Computer does not bill for services. Payment must be made at the
completion of the service call.
